Relief from low back pain

At some point in their lives, about 80% of people will experience low back pain. If the pain lasts 3 months or longer, it's considered chronic. Rolfing® Structural Integration can ease, or sometimes even eliminate, back pain so you can return to your favorite activities.

How does Rolfing® Structural Integration help back pain if you have not found relief from other methods?

Rolfing® Structural Integration takes into account the interactions between different body parts. For example, maybe something in the foot or around the shoulder is contributing to lower back pain.

This method uses seated and side-lying positions to get the best angle to approach the body.

Techniques are slow-paced and can range from broad to specific.

Sessions may address structures that other techniques do not work on.

Of course, it’s also important to take care of your back outside of a bodywork session. Walking, Pilates, and yoga are among the ways to keep your back in good condition and supporting you every day.
